Our History

CCA has united beef producers since 1867 to provide a unified voice for Colorado’s beef industry. In fact, CCA is the nation’s oldest cattlemen’s association, founded nine years before Colorado became a state!

Membership Recruitment

Are you riding for the brand? CCA has membership drive that runs from January 1 to December 31 each year. Prizes are awarded to recipients at the CCA Mid-Winter Conference. Points are accrued and prizes such as a $200 gift certificate to Lancaster's Western Wear all the way up to a Priefert Squeeze chute. Click here for more details.

Levels of CCA Membership

Producer / Cattle Feeder

For those who own cattle and are involved in breeding, raising, feeding or handling cattle. 

Allied Partner 

Individual Contributing – For individuals who do not own or feed cattle but have a vested interest in the beef industry.
Landowner Contributing - For individuals who own land and have a vested interest in legislative issues.
Supporting Silver – For businesses whose main interest is to show support for Colorado’s beef industry.
Supporting Gold – Businesses or individuals who want a closer working relationship with Colorado’s beef producers. Supporting Gold members receive a listing in CCA’s Product and Service Directory on our website.
Supporting Platinum – Businesses or individuals who are advocates of Colorado’s beef industry and want to support it with an increased investment. Supporting Platinum
members receive a special listing in CCA’s Product and Service Directory on our website, and are listed four times in the Cattle Guard.
Supporting Titanium – Businesses or individuals who are advocates of Colorado’s beef industry and want to support it one step higher. Supporting Titanium members receive all benefits of Supporting Platinum, plus they get a description of their company, logo and link on a page within our website.
